29 Students Of Fed Govt College Yobe Slaughtered In Boko Haram Attack

Suspected Boko Haram gunmen, on early hours of today Tuesday Feb 25 attacked students of the Federal Government College Buni-Yadi, Yobe, killing 29 students. Some buildings in the school were also reportedly razed. Sources at the school said the men invaded the school in the early hours of this morning while the students were still sleeping in their hostels and slaughtered them. Guns were not used in the attack as was the sect’s usual practice, probably to avoid the attention of people. They used machetes. The Federal Government College Buni Yadi is a co- educational institution located some 55km south of Damaturu the Yobe State capital. This is the fourth attack on secondary schools since the inception of the sect members.

End SARS: “Justice has not prevailed”- DJ Switch kicks against reopening of lekki toll gate

DJ Switch, a Nigerian disc jockey has kicked against the decision of the Lagos State judicial panel of inquiry to hand over the Lekki toll plaza to the Lekki Concession Company LCC. DAILY POST had reported that the panel, probing the alleged killing of End SARS protesters at the tollgate approved the reopening of the toll plaza and returned control to its owners, the Lekki Concession Company (LCC). But DJ Switch who aired a live recording from the toll gate during the gunshot incident in October 2020, in a Twitter post on Saturday kicked against the panel’s decision. According to her, operations at the tollgate should not have resumed when justice has not prevailed. “We cannot allow operations to begin at the Lekki Tollgate when justice has not prevailed! This is wrong! “I have always known from the start that this panel’s screening in my absence is a sham! “It’s very sad but the Lagos State Government has failed the young people of Its state,” she wrote.

Pastor Chris Okotie Threatens INEC For Not Registering His Party, Also Claims There Will Be Trouble In Nigeria If He’s Not Allowed To Contest

Lol! This is funny… The Senior Pastor of Household of God Church, Rev. Chris Okotie has been in war with Independent Independent National Elections Commission for not. Re-registering his party Fresh Democratic Party, FDP. He threatened that INEC is playing with fire if his party is denied the chance of contesting for the 2015 presidential elections. Rev. Okotie who is also the presidential candidate of his party, is in a bad state despite the fact that a Federal High court in Abuja had ruled that INEC should re-register his party after it was de-registered which the election body has refused to comply with the court directives. I’m sure you all remember Okotie claimed that God told him to contest every election, the same Okotie is now threatening INEC and Nigeria that if he is not allowed to run, then there will be trouble in country.
