The restaurant and lounge derives its inspiration from various bars and restaurants located in New York City with the right lounge music to keep control of the mood. They aim to cater for discerning individuals who are either looking for a nostalgic experience or yearning to try something different from the norm.

End SARS protest: Police deployed to Lekki toll gate [PHOTOS]

The Police have dispatched teams of operatives along the Lekki corridor ahead of Saturday’s End SARS protest at the toll gate. The Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command confirmed the deployment. “CSP Yinka Egbeyemi is presently leading a team of police officers on a show of force to Lekki Toll Gate (Admiralty Plaza) Obalende, Ikoyi, Jakande Roundabout, and other areas in Eti Osa”, RRS tweeted Friday night. The Police department said this was “part of efforts to deter crime as well as boost the morale of his officers in the areas”. This commenced after majority of the 9-member Lagos Panel of Inquiry approved the reopening of the toll plaza. Popular Nollywood Actor Ernest Asuzu Is Dead

Veteran Nollywood actor, Ernest Asuzu popularly known as El Cream, is dead. His wife, Jennifer Asuzu, who confirmed the sad incident, said he fainted on Tuesday evening and never woke up. Asuzu, who hailed from Imo, grew up in Lagos. In the late 90s he was into music and was a rapper, producer, director, and a television personality. He became more popular after featuring in a number of movies including “RITUALS” a movie that was produced by Kenneth Nnebue. The deceased acted in more than 100 movies since he joined the Nigerian movie industry. Some of the movies include: Living Abroad, Royal war, Last Wedding, Burning Desire, Ogidan, Never End, Broad Day Light, Ugonna and a popular hit movie, Labista which won him an award as the best supporting actor at the African Movie Academy Award. He was known to have acted alongside famous actors like Junior Pope Odonwodo, Gentle Jack, Emma Ahumadu, Jim Iyke, and Sylvester Madu amongst other celebrities.
